The 27th issue of the "Newsletter of Environmental, Disaster, and Crisis Management Strategies", published under the auspices of the Master's Program "Environmental, Disaster and Crisis Management Strategies" of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, summarizes the first scientific data and conclusions that resulted from the forest fire that hit areas of Penteli on July 19 and 20, 2022.
The issue entitled "The July 19-20, 2022 Penteli (Attica, Greece) Wildfire" is the result of a fruitful collaboration and exchange of knowledge between scientists of the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Section of Dynamics, Tectonics and Applied Geology) and the Department of Geography of Harokopio University of Athens.
