The 22th issue of the "Newsletter of Environmental, Disaster, and Crisis Management Strategies", published under the auspices of the Postgraduate Program "Environmental, Disaster and Crisis Management Strategies" of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, is the result of a constructive cooperation and exchange of knowledge between geologists, seismologists, physicists, geographers, and civil engineers of the country. Driven by scientific excellence and excellent quality, they followed with various methods and approaches the seismic sequence at the beginning of March in the northeastern part of the Thessalian plainand its accompanying effects, resulting in mapping and interpreting the phenomena. The seismic sequence includes the main earthquake on March 3 with magnitude Mw=6.3 and the earthquake of magnitude Mw=6.1 on March 4, which struck the same area.

The 2nd issue of the "NEWSLETTER OF ENVIRONMENTAL, DISASTERS AND CRISES MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES" publication of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens "Environmental, Disaster & Crisis Management Strategies" is published. The Newsletter presents important events in the relevant scientific fields, with the aim to immediately update the international scientific community and the public, starting with the publication of the reports on the Kos earthquake.

The 2nd issue summarizes the scientific and technical results related to the catastrophic Mw 4.0 earthquake of 21 August in Ischia, Italy and is availabe here.
